AWS Engineer - £65,000 Base Salary + 30K Bonus - London/RemoteThe opportunity to work for a well-funded pharmaceutical company that's working with cutting edge technologies and is entirely cloud hosted in AWS. Working with Virtual reality, this company is breaking through the drug discovery market through a series of major innovations.As an AWS Engineer, you'll be working within an organisation that puts innovation & technology first. Your role will be supporting and maintaining their current AWS platform, ensuring it's running effectively, providing technical support where needed for internal users. An understanding of Infrastructure & Provisioning Infrastructure in AWS is important, this can be with Terraform/ Cloud formation).On the AWS side, this company works with a wide stack, however if you've got knowledge of EC2, EBS, Cloud Watch it's definitely nice to have as those will be some of the most used services on their platform. Alongside the AWS aspect, you'll be responsible for their operating systems & databases which are hosted in Linux and MySQL respectively. Experience we're looking for:-2+ years of AWS experience.-Linux administration experience (Amazon Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).-Infrastructure as Code (Cloud formation/ Terraform)-Database Management (MySQL)-Scripting experience - Bash/Python.-An understanding of DevOps practices.
