This is a crucial non-technical role in Advanced Analytics Transformation team within the Innovation division. This role requires you to play a key role in supporting the running and development our Analytics Community, which is comprised of initiatives that engage, excite, and bring together colleagues at all levels of the organisation around topics of data, analytics and technology. It also requires you to play a significant part in helping colleagues in the organisation that we partner with, to successfully adopt the digital tools and technologies that we develop to help solve their business challenges. Your role focus is to: Support our existing suite of initiatives that empower colleagues to be curious, collaborate and learn about all things data, analytics, and technology, Continuously improve our existing initiatives and develop new ones where opportunities or gaps are identified, Support efforts to ensure tools and technology solutions developed in the department are introduced and embedded successfully in target areas in the organisation for lasting change. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach. You will work on a variety of cross team initiatives but also have the opportunity to develop and shape your own ideas (with support and backing from the wider team).   What does the role involve? What are the key responsibilities?   Help transform the FCA into an analytics-led organisation: You will contribute towards the strategy, creation, distribution, and measurement of brilliant content that gets us noticed, as well as taking the lead on and owning work.    You will care deeply about and be dedicated to listening and understanding our colleagues so you can create content that delights them You will build process and measurement into everything you do and analyse and draw insights from information we capture, to understand if the content you produce is driving awareness, engagement and sign ups. You will use your experience to contribute to and create great content; blogs, articles, learning and development support materials. You will also seize opportunities to harness the power of channels like podcasts and video to reach existing and new audiences to invite them to engage and sign-up to the analytics community or access tools and learning support resources etc You understand what it takes to make good written, visual and video content, and even if you are not experienced at video editing, designing or creating it yourself, you are motivated to develop and extend those skills with support from our visual designer. You know how to commission good content from other content creators in an engaging and effective way You will own and support organising and facilitating interesting and engaging events and project sessions both virtually and in person- introducing internal and external speakers, opening-up and facilitating Q&As etc Skills/Experience Required   Minimum  We're a signatory to the Government's Disability Confident scheme. An interest in people and an aptitude for understanding their needs and viewpoints Strong communicator (written and verbal) with the power to engage, motivate and influence a diverse range people at all levels in both remote working and face to face environments Excellent at developing effective relationships with a diverse range people; at various levels of seniority throughout an organisation. Experience developing and managing communications and engagement initiatives and activities within an organisation e.g., launching community initiatives etc. Effective organisational, planning and project management skills Essential An enthusiasm for new technology and a desire to learn more about new topics An eye for good design with experience developing visually appealing content across different formats and channels for different audiences and purposes. Experience facilitating or running face-to-face and online events such as talks, discussions, debates, and training etc Able to update and maintain community and team intranet page content Understands how to identify, create, disseminate, and measure content that drives engagement Excellent attention to detail and rigour in producing work to tight deadlines Entrepreneurial, with a collaborative approach. You bring fresh, exciting ideas for connecting with audiences to influence or support their needs etc   Desirable Knowledge of financial services or regulation Ability to capture, analyse and draw insights from feedback and engagement metrics etc  A level of flexible / hybrid working will be a feature of the role (a combination of working from the office work and working remotely) About the FCA   At the FCA, we're creating a fair and more resilient financial system. The consultation opened on 21 September and finishes on 20 December 2021. We will finalise the changes in February ahead of implementing from 1 April 2022.
