The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is delighted to advertise the opportunity of Deputy Head of Architecture - Cyber Security in the Digital, Commercial and Information Directorate (DCID).

This is an exciting time to be joining DCID which brings together professional experts in digital technology, commercial services, security, information management and operational process transformation to deliver high quality services to the CPS. Our new mission is clear. We will build positive partnerships across the criminal justice system and with our colleagues, to implement innovative ways of working, reduce corporate risk, improve user experience, and enable colleagues to successfully deliver their business.

The purpose of this role is to provide hands-on technical leadership in the development, operation and ongoing improvement of a complex, transformational digital service serving around 7,000 users; to develop a deep understanding of the needs of the CPS' digital service users and ensure that new technology is built to support them. The postholder will take the architectural lead on designated projects and deputise for the Principal Technical and Enterprise Architect as required, shaping and assuring the CPS' Digital future whilst identifying opportunities and driving through improvements.
