The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be part of the Infrastructure team and the wider Global IT department. This role will be a key member of a team responsible to deliver the exciting roadmap of work, including a Global WAN rollout and a migration to the cloud (Azure).Client DetailsMichael Page is delighted to be partnered with a global manufacturing company based in Merseyside.DescriptionThe Infrastructure Engineer will be part of the Infrastructure team and the wider Global IT department. My client is investing in its platform and infrastructure to provide the stability and flexibility the business needs and achieve the strategy of a central global IT function.

Key Responsibilities:Ensure that all systems are performing at optimal levels, liaising with external service providers where necessaryMonitoring and maintenance of the security, integrity and performance of core systems and backup servicesCompliance reporting and remediationWork collaboratively with the Architecture & Security teams offering input on solution designs where appropriateAssist with planning and delivery of infrastructure improvements as part of a teamWorking closely with our Vendors and outsourcing partners to provide input and continuously improve service Out of hours work where required ProfileKey Skills & Experience:

Good knowledge in the following Technical Skills:Windows Server OS family (Administration /OS builds /Patching and Managment)Active Directory - on premise and AzureAzureOffice 365Hyper-VNetworking including management of network appliances such as switches, routers, firewallKnowledge of one or more scripting languages e.g. PowerShell, VBScriptGood understanding of MS stack

Good understanding in the following Infrastructure processes:Capacity ManagementChange and Release ManagementPerformance reporting Job OfferSalary:£32,000 + £40,000
