As a trusted and preferred recruitment partner to this global financial services organisation for many years, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Business Systems Analyst to work in a key and important team that look after the largest change portfolio.

This opportunity has arisen following the promotion of the current role holder. Given this unit's status within the wider business, there are excellent progression and career path opportunities available. You will join an existing team of four Business Systems Analysts in this change delivery unit. Three of the team have strong business centric background (covering financial services) and the final BSA is more technical with an SQL background alongside strong SDLC understanding and agile delivery experience. Our client is looking for an additional technical BSA to join the team (a financial services background is not required).

Role Overview

As Business Systems Analyst you will provide expertise and support Change delivery through the creation of functional and non-functional solution artefacts. The role is responsible for identifying, assessing and documenting requirements, specifications and functionality, aligned to business strategy, business processes and technology architecture.

Key Skills / Requirements

-Core Business Analysis Skills

-Data modelling / Data flow experience

-Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecyle / SDLC

-Robust agile process experience

-Technical proficiency in SQL helpful

-JIRA / Confluence helpful

-Understanding of system integration issues.

Our client is based in Southampton but will allow fully remote working, and so will consider applications from candidates located anywhere in the UK.

Alongside a competitive base salary of up to £60k, you will benefit from an excellent benefits package. You will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus (not guaranteed) expected to be between 10% and 25%+ depending on performance.
