Daily rate - £700/day PAYE £898/day Umbrella

Start date - ASAP

Contract - 6 Months

Our financial services client is currently seeking a Project Manager to join their team as part of natural growth within the department. This position sits within the Wholesale and MSS Conduct Programme and is in place to support customers with Enhanced Care Needs (ECN) under the direction of Regulators. This role would be a good fit for someone who has experience Compliance and Risk experience within the Financial Services Sector. Additionally, if you have any experience working in Commercial Banking and proven Project Management experience, this role would be ideal. The client is looking for someone who has end to end Project Delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the ECN project and component activities, building stakeholder buy-in around plans, commitments and changesMaintain effective project controls and proceduresReport progress, issues, dependencies and risks to working groups and make recommendations to influence decision making in order to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realisationDrive delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, interdependencies, budget and risksOversee and provide direction to BA'sInfluencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesDriving project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risksEstablishing effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processesManaging relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Key Requirements: Influencing the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changesDriving project delivery proactively, balancing planning, scope, schedule, budget, communications and risksEstablishing effective project controls and procedures and quality assurance processesManaging relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAn understanding of the regulatory landscape in a commercial banking environment (desirable)Excellent analysis skills, with ability to structure problems and find solutionsAbility to facilitate decision making process and to drive implementationProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)In-depth understanding of project management best practices and methodologiesStrong interpersonal, problem-solving and analysis skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities whilst maintaining the delivery focusAbility to work with little supervision, proactive, with drive and energyExcellent communication skills at all levels (both written and oral)Flexible and adaptable approachAbility to understand the detail but also able to take a big picture approachExperience of leading change initiatives in large organisationsDelivery focused, and able to meet and manage deadlines
