Software Developer Java London / WfH to £80k

Software Developer / Engineer (Java 11 RESTful API) *Remote / WfH*. Would you like to work with a modern tech stack and gain valuable knowledge of modern digital banking?

You could be joining a technology driven Challenger Bank that is experiencing great success and changing the way consumer banking operates in the UK through the use of advanced technology.

As a Software Developer / Engineer you'll utilise the latest technologies working collaboratively with Mobile Developers and product specialists to deliver large scale, distributed systems that are secure and scalable. You'll be working on the core transaction engine; building public, versioned and scalable REST APIs and secure, fast, point to point integrations with partners.

You could be based remotely or ideally within commutable distance to one of the following office locations; London, Southampton or Cardiff (one day week / fortnight in the office).

Requirements:

You're technologist with a genuine enthusiasm for what you do

You have commercial core Java development experience including Java 8 (and Java 11 ideally)

You have experience of creating RESTful APIs

You're collaborative with experience of working in Agile teams

You have a good understanding of CI/CD and TDD

You have strong problem solving skills

You're a collaborative team member with excellent communication skills

As a Software Developer / Engineer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) and 25 days holiday.
