Technical Support Engineer (Renewables)

£25'000 - £30'000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Holiday

In this role, you will report to the Technical Support Manager and will be responsible for providing pre and post sales technical support to customer's consisting of design advice, planning, application and troubleshooting. This is a telephone based role where you will have flexibility to work from home or in the office.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar technical support role within the electrical sector. Knowledge of solar PV, energy storage and electric vehicle charging systems is highly advantageous but training will be provided. Candidates must also have excellent communication skills.

The role:

*Pre and post-sale support.

*Telephone support to customers - design, planning, application and trouble shooting.

*Communicate with wide range of customers with tailored approach

*Reporting to Technical Support Manager

*Full training will be provided.

The person:

*Previous experience in a technical support role for electrical products / white goods

*Passionate about renewables

*Knowledge of Solar PV / battery storage / EV charging will be an advantage

*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
