As IT Manager you will provide this company with hands on technical support and strategic direction, while overseeing not just the existing IT Infrastructure but the expansion of IT requirements in line with company demands. Client DetailsMichael Page Technology are delighted to be supporting a UK Wide supply chain business as they look to recruit a new IT Manager to oversee their in house IT requirements. DescriptionWhat you'll be doing:As IT Manager you will provide this company with hands on technical support and strategic direction, while overseeing not just the existing IT Infrastructure but the expansion of IT requirements in line with company demands. Reporting to the CFO you will be involved in all aspects of IT across the business and must be self-motivated and have a hands-on approach.Responsibilities:Aligning IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals including the development of an IT Roadmap.Helping to set and manage IT budgetsEvaluating risk, developing network recovery and backup processesAssessing and purchasing new and replacement hardwareEnsuring IT activities are compliant with GDPR and other applicable regulations.Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectivelyImplementing security of the network, data and its storage and communication systemMaintain Active Directory, Creating and maintaining user accounts and overseeing any product updatesTraining staff in the use of hardware and software and providing systems training to new employees at inductionMonitor performance of systems and proactively tune the environmentManagement of telephony systems and MobilesResponsible for IT hardware - including but not limited to computers/printers/mobile phones/ photocopiers /Access & Time Management.Management of ERP system including project managing any upgrades and bespoke requirements.Raise support enquires and deals with issue around Microsoft Dynamic NAV with support provider.Maintain licenses and upgrade schedulesIT server room housekeeping, hardware recycling and maintain secure disposal processes.Direct Despatch Integration & setupEDI knowledge and setupSupervising daily operations of network and server infrastructureDevelop business continuity/emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data.ProfileKey Skills & Experience:Hyper-V - management and support.Installation, management, deployment and support on Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019.Windows 10 - administration & supportDNS & DHCP management.TCP/IP, routing & switching including VLAN configuration and deployment.Firewalls (Meraki) and PC/Internet security (Symantec)Microsoft 365 configuration and managementMicrosoft Teams knowledge and setup.Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server, File Server, SQL server.Knowledge and experience of database applicationsKnowledge of Office suite e.g Excel, Word, PowerPoint & OutlookVoIP Telephony systems (Mitel)Hands-on experience of computer networks.Ability to understand existing business processes and how to map these within the ERP system.Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamic Navision 2016/Business central 14 onwards would be advantagous or any other relevant ERP.Job OfferSalary:£45,000 - £55,000 per annumBenefits:Flexible Working
