We are looking for an experienced Data Developer to join a reputable Financial Services based from the centre of Manchester.This business is going through a massive period of growth and large data transformation with an already cloud focused environment.
We need a passionate , highly motivated developer to work on their Azure solutions with a large emphasis on Azure Data Factory. This role involves strong people skills as youll engage with technical & business stakeholders across the group. Helping to define business problems, design solutions / roadmaps and drive forward projects from inception to successful completion!!
Key Responsibilities:
* To develop technical designs & function data mappings from client requirements, including organising & participation in workshops
* The creation of pipelines using Azure Data Factory
* Enrich existing pipelines using the latest Azure features
* Liaise with the data architects and data governance leads to help promote a centre of excellence
* To use and further promote Big Data techniques and tools including data lakes, data bricks etc
This is an expanding function and therefore we are open to speaking to people with various levels of experience. You could be in the first few years of your career with a strong foundation with SQL & ETL tools, looking to take that next step towards a development role.
Or be an experienced Data Developer with a strength with Azure Data Factory looking to take the lead and have a real impact on a company!

* Previous knowledge & experience with Azure Data Factory
* Knowledge around building or enriching pipelines
* Experience with Big Data technologies
* Strong understanding around SQL Development
