Service Delivery Manager (Engineering / Manufacturing Solutions)

Scotland based but with travel across the UK and potentially overseas

Service Delivery Manager role on offer for a rapidly growing, global company that is constantly evolving with innovative products where you will play crucial part in the future success of the business whilst shaping the role as you see fit.

Do you have a hands-on or technical background either in field based or factory based position? Have you got good customer facing skills?

With a history going back over 100 years, this company design, manufacture and supply bespoke machines for a huge range of industries. They are currently seeing an unprecedented demand for their solutions and as a result of this require a Service Delivery Manager to maintain and improve the relationships with their customers.

You will play a key role in customer relations through understanding their concerns and technical issues and providing an exceptional service that overcomes this issues and maximises revenue for both them and the company. This is not a 'hard sell' role as relationships will be built through working closely with customers, sales teams, service technicians and equipment specialists to ensure the best outcomes are met.

The ideal candidate will be a service, maintenance or similar engineer and will have either progressed into more of a customer facing role or will have strong customer facing skills with a desire to move into a position that revolves around customer relationships. You will be happy to travel across the UK, Ireland and will want a role that you can make your own.

The Role:

*Service Delivery Manager

*Managing customer relations through providing solutions

*Bespoke technical products/solutions for manufacturing

*Improving revenue for the customer and company

*Travelling across Scotland, the rest of the UK and Ireland

The Person:

*Hands-on or technical background

*Good customer facing skills

*Strong problem solver and communicator

*Flexible to travel to sites

*Ideally will have a field service or similar engineering background
