ROLE: IT Systems AdministratorLOCATION: Buckinghamshire
SALARY: £40,000 - £45,000My client are a market leading specialist situated in Buckinghamshire whoare looking for a Systems Administrator to join their growing technology team on a full-time basis. This permanent opportunity is offering a salary up to £45,000.
This Systems Administrator opportunity has become available as a direct result of business growth and offers the ability to make the position your own, driving the organisations cloud platform forward. This is a challenge where you will be taking an active role in migrating the organisations on-prem infrastructure to a cloud based platform whilst also monitoring servers/networks, automating processes on server infrastructure, mapping IP addresses and maintaining web servers.
Responsibilities include:
Carrying out systems maintenance including backups, software updates, system housekeeping and testing system builds Managing and monitoring existing infrastructure, web servers and networksInstalling and supporting IT hardwareMapping IP addressesCarrying out BAU to internal usersTaking a lead position in projects where you will be providing project plans and managing project development
Skills and experience required for this Systems Administrator position:
An understanding of core IT Infrastructure concepts such as DNS, NLB, content filtering and IP networkingA high understanding and experience of network switches and routersExcellent communication skillsITIL awareness as well continuous improvement experience tooPrevious experience working within a cloud hosted environment
