An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Network Manager, who will be responsible for the Network Infrastructure in the UK and sits within the Infrastructure team at PRH. The team is responsible for LAN, WAN, WiFi, Firewall, IDPS, VPN, Remote Access and VMware NSX. The role is responsible for the support and maintenance of hardware, contracts for services such as WAN/MPLS, DDoS Protection, project delivery and lifecycle maintenance. You will report into Head of Infrastructure  Core responsibilities:
Operational Infrastructure
The team is responsible for both "keeping the lights on" and working with Project teams to deliver new and upgraded systems. Taking escalations from the Service Desk the Infrastructure team identify and resolve issues and problems. Networks Team The networks team within Infrastructure are responsible for Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Perimeter security, Telephony & Audio Visual technologies, LAN/WAN and Wifi. Members of the team will have a broad knowledge across the technologies in the Networks team and beyond, but will also retain a specialism developed in more detail.  Network Team Manager As the team manager for Networks at PRH, you will be accountable for all network services at PRH UK. You will help set the strategy for our future network environment, provide a technical point of escalation for the network team, help design and deliver future network projects and ensure the lifecycle of the network environment is maintained. This role supports the 7 UK sites as well as some connectivity to our overseas offices. Experience & Skills we're looking for: Technical expert in a range of technologies, who is driven, and able to work on their own Strong Cisco skills, including IOS, NXOS, DNA Centre, APIC Fabric Understanding and hands-on experience of troubleshooting network routing and switching, specifically using Cisco Products Good working knowledge of networking security appliances: PaloAlto firewalls, Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco ISE, IPSec VPN experience. Experience and understanding of SD-WAN technology would be beneficial. Cisco certification to at least CCNP / CCDP standard. Solid PaloAlto firewall experience Understanding of SASE technology would be ideal. Strong understanding of VMware NSX Strong understanding of ITIL and Prince2 Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.  Working technical experience with designing, building, configuring and supporting complex systems. Able to demonstrate flexibility and motivation, as well as problem solving capability and team working. About you: Background running large multisite networks with complex perimeters and connectivity requirements "can-do" personality Passion for continuous improvement Excellent communication and analytical skills. Ability to work with others in a collaborative way Willing to be hands on Ability to manage and maintain support & maintenance contracts Due to the technical nature of the role, a high level of attention to detail is required, and also an ability to both develop and follow processes to ensure consistent and repeatable outcomes.
