Site Reliability Engineer London to £90k

Site Reliability Engineer (SRE Golang Python Java AWS Cloud Kubernetes Nomad). Would you thrive within a start-up environment where you'll be the first Site Reliability Engineer hire?

Successful hedge-fund start-up is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their growing team. You'll be responsible for ensuring the quality of development and delivery of the production systems whilst building and maintaining a highly reliable and efficient infrastructure. You'll utilise a range of tools and technologies including Golang, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka and Terraform.

Based in London you'll be joining a friendly and supportive team. You will be expected to be in the office for your on boarding period (first 3 months) and then you'll be able to work from home 2 - 3 days a week.

Requirements:

An experienced Site Reliability Engineer / SRE with software engineering experience using Golang (ideally), Python or Java

Knowledge of Cloud technologies such as AWS (ideally), Azure or GCP

Familiar with Kubernetes and Kafka

Ideally you'll be degree educated in Computer Science or similar

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
