Senior Interaction DesignerExperis are currently recruiting for a Senior Interaction Designer for a 12 months contract with a central government client based in West Yorkshire. The successful contractor must have a portfolio of work documented user centred design across the Public sector.

SkillsHave experience of working from a digital perspectiveHave experience of sketching, prototyping and iterative designHave experience of working in a multidisciplinary teamHave experience of using a user-centred design approachExperience of explaining design decisions and communicating ideas in a way that other people understandBe able to lead a workshopBe able to help the design process work effectivelyKnow how to plan user researchHave experience of interpreting research and dataHave experience of handling constructive criticism of your workHave experience of constructively reviewing other people's workHave experience of putting forward the case for design to senior stakeholders and product ownersHave experience of working at pace in an agile environment DesirableHave a design-related degreeBe able to work directly with front-end code to update prototypes - skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript aren't essential, but all our designers learn the basicsBe able to write for user interfacesExperience of working on designs with a software engineerExperience of working in technical teams in complex environments Inside IR35Security Clearance: BPSS - Must be eligible for SC Clearance
