Analytics Engineer - AzureManchester
£70,000 per annum
We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join one of the worlds leading Financial Services companies. This business is creating a greenfield risk data & services platform to deliver the latest risk intelligence insights & solutions to their clients.
This role has the potential to drive the future analytics capabilities and data function of the business
Key Responsibilities:
* To build insightful & attractive visualisations to answer client requirements
* To have a full understanding of the end to end cycle, generating solutions for customers - enabling customers to understand their data capabilities
* Enable customers to understand the data value
* To combine data science techniques with programming skills to unlock insights from the data provided by clients
Skills & Experience:
* A strong understanding of modern programming languages (Python, R, SQL) - preferably Python
* Expert knowledge visualising business insights using the latest data analysis tools (PowerBI, Tableau etc)
* Familiarity with the analytics ecosystem e.g Spark, Pandas, Jupyter notebooks etc
* Strong communication skills
