Working within the Project Delivery and Change Function (PDCF), you will be a critical part of the Portfolio Governance and Assurance (PGA) team, supporting the development of mission critical business cases for DIT priority projects in line with DIT and HMT Green Book guidance. The PGA team provides high quality advice to DIT's Projects and Change Committee (PCC) which is responsible for approving investment cases in line with IPA/ HMT standards and guidance. The PCC portfolio, which you will be working on, is unique in its breadth and diversity - it includes world events, organisational transformation and a range of IT enabled and other change programmes.

Our opportunity as Business Case Development Lead will produce coherent, compelling business cases. You'll manage a small team of business case contributors, driving the pace and quality of the service  delivered to the business.  whilst working closely with key stakeholders and business areas ensuring requirements are met.  As with most roles we will expect you to work in an environment of uncertainty and continual change and be able to adapt to changing circumstances and adverse situations whilst remaining calm and maintaining performance.
