Software Developer

My fantastic client in Preston is looking for a solid Software Developer to come on board on a permanent basis and join an award winning team. The client is happy for people to work on a remote basis with only 1 day per week in the office. 

The role is to develop web-based solutions for clients and their customers as well as address and resolve defects to the software throughout the development and testing phases. The candidate will also need to provide unit test plans for each module.

The candidate who comes on board will need to support major software solutions deployed throughout the business and enhance and progress their development skills via online training and technical mentoring from other team members.

Essential Skills:

Strong web development skills

Experience using C#.NET and ASP.NET

1 years' experience in web development

Experience in creating fully responsive websites ideally bootstrap

Experience of MVC

Knowledge of database development techniques (SQL Server)

Knowledge of object-orientated programming methods

Experience of Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server

This is a permanent role paying up to £30-40k per annum, alongside this it also offer great progression and also the opportunity to go on training courses.
