Senior Electrical Network Planner

Due to continued growth and a strong volume of work, this employer is now looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Network Planner to join their well-established team working on a variety of utilities projects, including residential and industrial/commercial developments.

The chosen candidate will play a crucial part in supporting the existing electrical design team through initial design advice and reviews, completing detailed design work for electrical infrastructure projects from LV up to 33kV.

From budget design to operational handover, the electrical design engineer will make sure that designs are technically and commercially compliant, viable and delivered within pre-agreed time frames.

This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical engineer to join a well-established independent connections provider and working on a range of diverse projects.

Minimum requirements:

- At least 5 years' experience working for a DNO/IDNO or ICP

- Experience working up to voltages of 11kV. 33kV is preferred.

- Experience in using electrical calculation software, such as Windebut

Salary ranging from £40,000.00-£60,000.00 depending on experience.

- Positive approach to customer and clients

- A proactive approach to solving problems and seeking information is required

- PC Literate with good experience using Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook

- High quality customer service with a positive approach to all stakeholders

- Dedicated to providing high quality administrative support and project coordination

- A team player with the ability to work under pressure

- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets is essential

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
