Java Engineer / Backend Developer (Spring, AWS & Kubernetes)  Remote Interview, WfH.    Progress your career, while enjoying your work - this tech driven, health and wellness app producer offer an opportunity for talented technologist to join a collaborative team of Engineers who are inspired to write code for products that have real world impact on a daily basis.  Offering the chance for the right mid-level and senior engineers to grow into a role where technical direction comes with the territory and is promoted. 

You will develop systems that deal with data sets on a huge scale, with hundreds of thousands of interactions happening over a small space of time - an ability to deal with volume is at the heart of this new teams' venture. With the latest software tools and practises being used, you'll be working with Java 8 / 11, Spring Boot / MVC, Kafka, Kubernetes and AWS in a complex microservices environment. 

With a straightforward remote interview process, you'll immediately recognise everyone has a mature attitude to their work - with the ability to work from home, eventually there will be the ability to visit the office 1-2 per week if desired, with modern and well-equipped spaces in central London, all with the customary break out areas and relaxation points. 

You'll have:
*Core Java development experience, 5+ years 
*Experience having created microservices using Spring Boot
*Exposure to Kafka or experience with similar messaging tools 
*Commercial RESTful API expertise 
*AWS, Docker and Kubernetes experience 

This Java Engineer / Backend Developer will have the opportunity to join a growing team and get their teeth into greenfield work immediately - £65,000 - £75,000 + package and benefits.
