This employer is a rapidly growing water hygiene company based in Hertfordshire. They are a friendly team that are looking for positive individuals with a can-do attitude who are looking for excellent training and progression in water hygiene/water treatment/plumbing roles.
As an independent water hygiene company, engineers will have an exciting role where they will receive one to one in-class and on-site training and undertake all aspects of water hygiene services. This means you learn to undertake legionella risk assessments, monitoring, remedial works such as tank cleans and TMV servicing to minor plumbing works. And for the more advanced, water softener, pump servicing, and closed system engineering.
They are currently seeking an engineers located in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex, Cambridge, Buckinghamshire and North London.
Responsibilities:
- Legionella risk assessments
- Schematics
- Water testing/sampling
- Remedial works/minor plumbing (TMVs, dead legs, flexible hoses, etc)
- Closed system analysis/dosing
- New mains water supply chlorinations
- Mains injection chlorinations
- Cold water storage tank disinfections
- Other risk systems
Monitoring/management control:
- Monthly temperatures
- Quarterly descaling
- Expansion vessel flushing
- Reviews
- CWST inspections
- HWC inspections
- Combination water header inspections
- TMV servicing
- Water softener services
- Spa pool testing and servicing
- And more
Requirements:
- 2 years industry experience
- Eye for detail, work well independently
- Pride in your appearance
- IT skills
- Punctual, responsible, professional manners
- Good customer service and ability to talk with customers
- Must demonstrate working flexibility
- Full clean driving licence
- Travel, working in the South East, London and the UK (includes staying away, typical 2-3 times a month)
