We're looking for a passionate IT professional who can assist with enhancing the Charity's IT development in tandem with an outsourced agency.
North London Hospice exists to enable the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone. We work together with our diverse community to provide palliative care and support, when and where it's needed most. We provide tailored, personalised care for more than 3,000 people a year who are living with a life-limiting illness in Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey.
As the hospice embraces Office365 and a new IT infrastructure, we're looking to bring in expertise to take responsibility for organisation-wide systems and information.
You'll be the first port of call for technical support queries whilst also getting involved in technical aspects of IT projects. You'll be responsible for the proper functioning of all IT support across the three sites of the hospice - enabling the charity to care for over 3,000 people each year.
You'll be responsible for providing technical support to staff, as well as ensuring that all hardware and software needs are met across the organisation. This means making sure that staff have got the required hardware to do their jobs, and that software updates or changes are done regularly and in a timely manner.
Providing telephone, email and face-to-face support, you'll both be the face of the organisation's IT department and the liaison with outsourced suppliers.
Qualities including accountability, crisis management and an ability to prioritise are essential. You'll also be expected to work out of hours should an unforeseen systems failure occur.
In return, you will receive:
Excellent training and development opportunities
Standard Life Pension scheme membership
Life Assurance cover
Ongoing professional development
Fully funded health cash plan
Workplace perks
Discounted cinema scheme, etc.
