The right person will be responsible for monitoring and the maintenance of the computer systems and networks within the organisation, installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, either over the phone or in person. You will need to be a clear communicator, a team player and exhibit excellent attention to detail. The main roles and responsibilities will include:Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications and support the roll-out of new applicationsMonitor and maintain computer systems and networks, replacing parts as required and ensuring staff understand basic actions to contribute to the maintenance of these systemsTroubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faultIrapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developersProvide support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports Key skills: In order to carry out this role to the level required buy our client you will need a number of key skills including:The ability to think logically and demonstrating attention to detail at all timesTime management skills as priortising your workload will be a huge factor in the successful running of the systems and networksA good memory of how software and operating systems workCustomer service skills are an advantage because you will need to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution in an efficient, polite and timely mannerthe ability to work well in a team This is an excellent opportunity with one of the true innovators in the industry.
