Senior Robotics Engineer / ArchitectThis is the job opportunity of a lifetime for a senior robotics engineer who wants to deploy their skills in the ‘final frontier’ of space, without ever leaving terra firma.
Our client is building a device to manufacture materials onboard the ISS leveraging the unique benefits of space (microgravity, vacuum) for improved terrestrial applications. You will join a team of leading technical architects across computer architecture, electronics and mechanical engineering to contribute to advancing state-of-the-art manufacturing by developing systems that will operate autonomously in the harsh and limited resource environment of space.
We’re seeking a robotics fanatic who will contribute previous experience and new ideas to this ground (….space….) breaking project. You will have experience of robotics development of complex machines from idea through launch with multiple development cycles, including DFx skills such as vibration, thermal, space, manufacturing, assembly.
