Lead Maintenance Engineer

On offer is the chance to work for a renowned company in a hands on role, where you will have plenty of technical variety in your day-to-day tasks and be a key part in organising and upholding the maintenance for the business. This market leading company have gone through a period of sustained growth over the years, and now operate across several sites throughout the UK. They are now looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to take the lead on all maintenance activities across their various sites. You will be carrying out the maintenance and repairs on their specialist equipment, as well as organising and planning maintenance schedules. This position will suit someone looking to become an expert in their field, in a hands on role, where you will also be able to develop your leadership skills. The Role:Mechanical and electrical repairs, maintenance and installation of machineryEnsuring site facilities are 'fit for purpose' and remain up to safety standardsContinuous improvement to increase operational efficiencyOrganising maintenance plans and schedulesDays based role, Monday to FridayThe Person:Electrically bias Maintenance EngineerExperience working in a manufacturing / production / industrial environmentExperience with maintenance of cutting equipment or similar (preferred)Any background in material processing of the following is advantageous: Quarrying, Mining, Concrete, Metal or similarAny previous leadership experience is advantageous
