SQL Server / .NET Developer - Banking

As a highly established recruitment partner to this long established and leading international bank, we have been asked to assist in the hire of a Contract SQL Server / C#.NET Developer to work on the development of new functionality for existing applications across various areas of the business. The applications are comprised of a rich web-based user interface backed by a .Net(c#) application layer and SQL Server 2008 database. The successful Developer will be responsible for online GUI developments, interfaces, database development and ETL.

Responsibilities:

*Working on an identified list of functional and non-functional improvements.

*Working with the application business owner to ensure changes have the required impact.

*Manage testing to ensure successful deployment of changes.

*Work to agreed standards of development and release/deployment.

*Support users as required during UAT.

Key Skills:

*Solid Experience of SQL Server 2008/2012 development

*.net (C#) Server side development experience.

*.net Web based GUI development experience

*End-to-end development lifecycle experience

*Practical experience of design patterns and frameworks

*Banking / financial services experience

Initial 6 month term
