Front End Developer / UI Engineer London to £70k

Front End Developer / UI Engineer (JavaScript CSS3) *Remote Interview WFH*. Are you a skilled Front End Developer seeking an opportunity to step up to a senior role whilst remaining hands-on with tech?

You could be working on complex and interesting systems used by millions of people every month.

Joining an Agile development team, as a Front End Developer you will take a central role in building intuitive interfaces to help users find retail discounts; optimising every aspect of the page, ensuring the fastest possible in-browser performance on both mobile and desktop devices. Day to day you'll be updating current products and building new features, working to improve efficiency and functionality and collaborating with product owners, tech leads, engineers and QA to prioritise and resolve issues. As a more senior member of the team you'll take project ownership and help to mentor more junior developers, progressing your career with more technical leadership responsibilities.

Driven by technology the company offers a remote interview / onboarding process and the ability to work from home during the current social distancing measures with 3 days a week WFH going forward. Requirements:

You have advanced Vanilla JavaScript skills with a broad knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React , Angular or Vue.js preferred); you'll be using Vue.js going forward

You're creative and advanced CSS experience

You have a god understanding of browser optimisation, page speed metrics and performance tools

You're familiar with Continuous Integration and effective testing of frontend code (they use Jest, Cypress, Jasmine and Karma)

You're a keen technologist, keep up to date with new and emerging technologies, able to pick up new languages and tools quickly

You're a collaborative team member with excellent communication skills, happy to help mentor others and take a lead on projects
