Newman University are looking to appoint an innovative and proactive Planning and Data Analyst to support the University's planning and monitoring of performance. This includes the development of management information, written and presentable reports that provide insight, reporting dashboards and other data visualisations. As a key member of the Planning and Systems Development team we want you to have the ability to interrogate and analyse challenging business intelligence problems and produce data-driven, action-oriented solutions. You will also have a technical role in the production of statutory student data returns including the imminent HESA Data Futures.

You will have an honours degree or strong evidence of a high level of analytical, communication and problem-solving ability. Good attention to detail and the ability to work well as part of a small and friendly team in addition to using your own initiative are essential, especially as you will be leading on the continuing development of our suite of Tableau dashboards. You will be an effective negotiator and committed to working positively with stakeholders and colleagues from across the university. Some flexibility regarding working hours will be required especially during busy periods such as clearing and results processing.
