QA Test Engineer London to £65k

QA Test Engineer (Postman Contract Testing API microservices) *Remote Interview WfH*. Would you like to progress your career working on a modern microservices tech stack? You could be joining a fast growing FinTech; the core product is an automated saving app that can deliver much better interest rates for users tailored to an individual leveraging the advantages of group buying power.

As a QA Test Engineer you will focus on testing backend systems, APIs and 3rd party data integrations ensuring they are fast and secure using both manual an automation test techniques. You'll join a cross functional team within an Agile Squad using TDD and CI/CD within a microservices environment; collaborating to estimate the testing required, reporting status and issues and escalating bugs that require further attention.

There's a remote interview and onboarding process as well as the ability to work full-time from home; in time you'd ideally be able to join colleagues in the London office 1-2 days a week but could remain remote (within commutable distance).

Requirements:

You have strong QA testing skills, both manual and automation (this role is more automation focused but there is some manual testing involved too)

You have experience of writing API automation tests and consumer driven tests (contract testing), have a good knowledge of microservices and SOA and Postman experience

You have a good understanding of code written in Python and / or JavaScript, CI/CD

You're collaborative and pragmatic with good written and verbal communication skills
