This employer is an award-winning fast-growing online retailer with a core focus on bringing pop culture and licensed products to an international audience. They sell an exciting product range from over 100 top brands, including Marvel, Peppa Pig, Pokemon, Friends & Star Wars. They ship worldwide across multiple marketplaces, with their principal sales channel's being their Shopify webstore, Amazon and eBay. After a very successful rapid growth period, they are now seeking to add an experienced Developer to the team.

As their SNR Developer, you will be responsible for creating a series of in house web applications to help the day to day function of a successful e-commerce business. These applications will be groundbreaking and are currently not commercially available. This represents a fascinating opportunity to help shape the future of the company. The role is ideal for someone who wants to build applications that have a real impact and get immediate feedback. They are looking for a solutions-focused and passionate candidate who loves the difference they can make within a close-knit team.

The company plans to build a development team around the successful candidate. They are currently planning an extensive international expansion plan, including the launch of multilingual webstore stores and localised marketplaces.

Required skills:

- Experience with Laravel (or another modern MVC-based framework)

- Experience using PHP to create web applications

- Extensive experience with general web technology (HTML5, CSS, JS, JQuery, AJAX, MySQL/ SQL, REST APIs, etc.)

- Proficiency with Linux and the UNIX command line

Desired:

- Familiarity with the Shopify, Channel Advisor, People Vox API's

- Familiarity with managing servers

- Experience working for a rapidly growing eCommerce company
