A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Information Security Governance Officer with Cyber Security experience to join a good client of mine based in Birmingham
This role will be remote working. Responsibilities:
Documenting policy, processes, and standards for the Information Security Function.Regularly reviewing and updating policies, procedures and standards based on feedback from the team and stakeholders, opportunities for improvement and when significant changes occur.Supporting the wider Governance & Compliance activities for the organisation.Cyber Security policies and proceduresManaging Cyber security suppliers across the business.Working with clients to identify and respond to cyber threats and security risks which might have an impact on their businessSkills and experience: Information Security Governance Officer
Strong understanding of Information Security standards & best practice (ISO27001/2)Experience working in a healthcare environmentIn-depth understanding of how Information Security can impact an organisationDemonstrable understanding of relevant laws and regulations relating to the protection of information, for example GDPR, and the potential consequences if non-compliance.Background in Information Security or Governance in an IT environment.Ability to advance stakeholder thinking on Information Security managementQualifications: Information Security Governance Officer
