This employer is an industry leading specialist engineering consultancy for UK and overseas swimming pool and spa projects. Their practice of 16 staff is based in North Shields, NE30.

Role:

- Responsible for running pool and spa projects* to include liaison with the client and the design team, design, specification, site works monitoring and handover

- Reporting to the senior Project Engineers and the Directors, and working in accordance with the firms certified ISO 9001 quality management system.

You:

- Confident, professional engineer

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

- Positive attitude and a growth mind set

- Adept at managing multiple projects

- Flexible and proactive team player

- 1 years' experience in a building services or mechanical or water engineering field

- Ability to travel within UK and occasionally abroad

- Educated to honours degree level in a relevant engineering discipline

- Aiming to achieve Chartered Engineer status

- Capable swimmer

Duties:

- Design and specification of specialist engineering systems for swimming

pool and spa projects*

- Manage multiple projects, to programme and budget

- Work with internal project teams

- Present to and interface with external design teams

- Visual site inspections

- Maintain and develop key business relationships

- Support business and systems development

* This is a specialist position, specific pool and spa knowledge is not expected; full training will be provided.
