The Role: The business is undertaking a major system upgrade to enable it to scale and grow whilst improving customer service and performance reporting. We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst to be a core member of the delivery team and the subsequent operational team that will ensure the business goals continue to be met. As the Business system analyst you will oversee the analysis, development and implementation of our complete business operations. You will examine existing and new systems for improvement , report common issues and evaluate system and company performance . You will educate team members on business systems goals and objectives and educate the business on the value of information technology. Key Accountabilities: + Research and analyse all aspects of existing business practices and procedures and develop detailed flow charts representing existing practices
+ Identify and interview key subject matter experts across the business to understand requirements and priorities, capture them, and play them back to ensure accuracy and completeness.
+ Create detailed plans for execution and implementation of new processes and business systems
+ Maintain and monitor existing systems and programs while coordinating the installation of new systems
+ Oversee the lifecycle of changes to the business system involving managing external supplier delivery of capability, alongside internal communications and training
+ Update the exec team and prepare detailed status reports.
+ Consult with Management to reach agreement on systems operating principles.
+ Research and estimate costs of upgrades and improvements About You: + Bachelors degree in Business , Computer science or relevant field
+ A minimum of 3 years experience as a business system analysis
+ Experience of having specified, selected and implemented a significant business system or improvement
+ Level of commercial awareness and ability to determine pricing strategies or provide ‘cost vs. benefit' supplier evaluations
+ Highly analytical mindset
+ Proficient in Microsoft office, process mapping and requirement document templates.
+ Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
+ Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure Essential behavioural attributes + Decision making
