This is a fixed term opportunity to provide maternity cover and become part of Solent's ICT Service Desk Team as we embark on a series of high-profile initiatives to drive digital transformation.

The ICT Service Desk is a vitally important part of the organisation. As the customer facing heroes of ICT, we are the single point of IT related contact, coordination, communication and information for all staff, partner organisations and guests to Solent University.

We are a modern and vibrant team of highly skilled, extremely adaptable, and passionate IT professionals providing a unified IT experience to our customers. We achieve this through our effective implementation and management of quality IT Services, aligned to the needs of the business.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and experienced Senior ICT Service Desk professional, who is in possession of exemplary customer service skills. With highly developed reasoning, proficiency and a pro-active aptitude for analytical problem solving, you will have a proven track record in delivering results in a complex and challenging environment. 

You will be responsible for the daily work for six ICT Service Desk Analysts, managing tasks and providing coaching and support.
