£30,000 - £35,000 + vehicle, on call allowance & Cisco & Microsoft training support About Us. We are a small IT and Telecoms provider supporting small to medium businesses with their Voice and IT needs. This ranges from installing simple VoIP telephone systems connecting to an existing IT network, installing a soft VoIP telephone system into a virtual environment (on premise or in the Cloud), to setting up new users on their network and providing Cloud or virtualised environments. The role is a multi-faceted one which encapsulates work on the service desk, to field visits, to a rota system whereby we have engineers based at customers sites. + Experience on setting up VoIP solutions onto customer LAN/WAN infrastructure
+ Knowledge of Routers/Firewalls and switching (e.g. VLANS set up, port requirements etc.) As a small company we are looking for a flexible person who keen to get involved in all aspects of the business. You'll need to have the capacity to lead, as well as the ability to show initiative and take ownership of issues. As you might expect for a role like this you'll need to be able to perform well under pressure.
