On offer is a unique engineering manager position for a manufacturer that have been around for 100 years and are in their most exciting time ever! This company are a textiles and fabric manufacturer of home interior products for high end clients around the world. Due to the nature of their incoming contracts, they are seeking an engineering manager to join the business and help implement quality management systems into their production as well as maintaining the machines. This role will is ideal for someone looking for a good hands on challenge that will lead to a more hands off role overseeing the department for many years to come!

The Role:

* Implementing quality management systems and root cause analysis

* Maintaining looms, weaving machines, cutting machines and welding machines

* Overseeing technical staff

* Health and safety and project management

* Based in Rochdale

The Person:

* Looking for a challenging and responsible job within a manufacturing site

* Mechanical skills - compressors, pneumatics, gears, basic electrics

* Understanding of ISO standards and quality management systems

* Commutable to Rochdale
