Senior Database Developer (SQL BI Stack)£60,00012 Month FTCHome Based for now - Office in Leamington SpaExperis are currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence Developer to join one of our key clients based in the West Midlands.The Database Developer will support the Development Teams and Database Architect in developing the Solutions system using the established architecture and tooling as a base and configuring, extending and, where required, customising it to meet the needs of the customer. The main responsibilities are: To work closely together with all other members of the product, implementation and support teams to design, validate and deliver a stable, scalable and quality solution that meets the agreed and documented requirements of the customer.To design, develop and deliver assigned tasks.To follow all development and project processes on all implementation work.To provide estimates for the delivery of implementation tasks. Technical Experience5 years or more experience of software design, development and deliverySolid experience in development and production rolesAn awareness of and willingness to explore, learn and use new technologiesEducated to degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline5 years or more experience of SQL Server development versions 2014 - 2019Working knowledge of: Database design and development using core database, analysis services and integration services.T-SQL (both data definition and data manipulation)Integration ServicesPerformance tuning with small and large volumes of dataSQL Server data toolsXml including XQuery and XPathMicrosoft Visual Studio Dev Ops aka Team Foundation ServerMicrosoft Visual Studio Application Performance TestingC#.Net FrameworkPowerShellAutomated unit testingDatabase modelling with Toad Data Modeller and Visual Studio Database / T-SQL / SSAS / SSRS / SSIS / BI / Business Intelligence / Visual Studio / c# / .NETIf this role has caught your attention please apply for further details
