The role of the Optimisation Analyst will be to support the CRO Manager in improving our digital platform by researching and executing on opportunities to drive revenue and lifetime value.
Key accountabilities:
Support the optimisation roadmap and backlog within the eCommerce team
Co-ordinate Optimisation projects.
Derive new insight from analysis in a variety of tools from web analytics and other tools and feedback methods
Supporting ecommerce team with relevant web data and insight to make data informed decisions
In-depth analysis of all aspects of digital journey
Drive data driven decision making through A/B tests or other analysis
Ad hoc web analytics data and analysis for wider team
Confident in working with teams both across the business and externally.
Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly improve the quality of the site
Create relationship with other teams and stakeholders to improve project throughput
Skills required:
Autonomous attitude to completing projects
Strong communication Skills
Interest in optimisation & onsite personalisation
Familiarity with Google Analytics (or similar web analytics tools), knowledge of tracking implementation and GTM would also be hugely advantageous
Interest and knowledge of scientific method and in A/B testing
The ability to deliver accurate, relevant and timely information, based on solid research
Data visualisation and storytelling skills - The ability to turn numbers into narrative to gain interest from others
Excel knowledge
Desirable:
Experience with project management tools
eCommerce experience
Experience with A/B testing or personalisation tools
Experience in making narrative presentations to present results
Qualification in a STEM discipline e.g. mathematics, computer science or a scientific/ analytical discipline
Basic exposure to web development tech e.g. HTML, CSS, JS etc.
