Are you from a FMCG, Automotive, packaging or plastics background and looking for a new challenge in a multinational business known for its friendly, stable, and flexible work environment!

Established for over 35 years, our client is a world leading plastics manufacturer that is renowned for working with some of the globes leading brands. Focused on modernising and investing in new machinery, they are looking for an experienced quality engineer who can help them drive the business forward.

You will initially join the business to undergo on job training where you will be supported by a friendly and experienced team. Once up to speed, you will be key in driving high quality standards across manufacturing impacting new product development, new tooling, new documentation and health and safety. Working a day shift, this role holds long term stability within a technically interesting environment.

The Role

* Reporting directly to the Technical Manager.

* Flexible Day shift (Monday to Friday).

* Plastics manufacturing environment (Injection Moulding).

* New and existing product quality (New tooling).

* Supporting quality on new and existing manufacturing lines.

* Documentation and health and safety.

The Person

* 5+ Years' experience as a quality engineer.

* From either an FMCG, Automotive, packaging or plastics background.

* Problem solving tools & techniques (8D, 5Y, FMEA)

* Working knowledge of Quality tools (APQP, NPI, SPC, Launch gateways)

* Strong communicator to driving improvements

* Six Sigma would be beneficial but not essential
