Excellent opportunity for a Production Planner to join a market-leading manufacturing company who are providing on-the-job training in their niche industry and products.

On offer is the fantastic chance to work for a specialist manufacturer who are in a phase of expansion and are offering a permanent role and a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday.

Established 60 years ago this company are market leaders in what they do, working with a variety of thriving industries such as space and defence. They have ambitious expansion plans in place and are seeking an additional team member to contribute to this development.

In this role, you'll be split equally between their Production and Purchasing teams to improve manufacturing processes as well as analysing costs to ensure the most cost-effective method of production is being used.

This is a great opportunity to join an ambitious company who are offering long term career prospects, training in their niche product range and an attractive 4-day working week.

The Role:

*50/50 split between Production/Purchasing

*Review manufacturing routes and times to reviews processes and timings

*Analyse material and labour costs to ensure the most cost-effective production methods are used

*4-Day week, working Monday - Thursday

The Person:

*Previous experience in a production planning role

*Purchasing/procurement experience

*Any manufacturing/production background considered
