Senior Data EngineerDublin (Remote Opportunity Available) Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer who wants to bring their skills to bear and help a successful team become even better. The value you will deliver: You will collaborate closely with our R&D team of Data Scientists to take the innovative concepts they have developed and further them into a scalable product offering. You will be responsible for ingesting data into our data lake and provide frameworks and services for operating on that data. You will build data pipelines and dataflows to load data from batch sources and streaming into data lake / data warehouse. You will interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies. You will develop and implement processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. You will work closely with architects, engineers, and product owners to ensure that the product being built is of the highest quality and meets the needs of the customer. You will collaborate closely with our cloud infrastructure team on shared items of work and communicate well. The skills you will bring: 5+ years of industry experience in in software development, data engineering, business intelligence, data science, or related field with a track record of manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets. You have an innovative mindset and hands-on experience with AWS services like Elastic MapReduce, Glue, S3 etc. Redshift knowledge and experience is a plus.
