ASIC Verification Engineer! Global Wireless Comms - Manchester This is a superb opportunity for a Verification Engineer to join a global wireless company near Manchester. This is an ideal time for an ASIC Verification engineer to join and develop their skills with state-of-the-art design and verification tools and implementation of market leading designs. You may also get the opportunity to lead and supervise a small team of verification engineers - so a real opportunity for individual growth. The work undertaken is project based and the successful individual will work with both the Design team and Verification Team focusing on the design and verification of chips for switching in core networks. Some of your responsibilities will be; Taking sign-off responsibility for the verification of significant design blocks, Developing test environments from scratch, using System Verilog and UVM. Key Skills:Good understanding of Digital communications.Strong understanding of VLSI digital design.Hardware description languages; Verilog, System Verilog or VHDL.Verification methodologies and libraries including UVM.Software programming/scripting languages (C/C++, Perl and Python).Experience in digital verification and the ability to own a significant block or sub-block in verification would be an advantage.
