Oracle DBA - eBusiness Suite 12.1.3My client, based in Wembley are looking for an Oracle Applications DBA to join them on a contract basis.
This role will fully support working from home and there will be no requirement to come to the site during the current Covid pandemic.
An initial 6 Month contract, with a contingency to extend if the project over-runs.
The primary focus of this role will be in the day to day administration, maintenance and support of the Oracle eBusiness Suite version 12.1.3 environments, whilst the current DBAs work on the upgrade to 12.2
The eBusiness environment comprises GL, AP, AR, PO, iProcurement, iExpenses and Projects, HR and Payroll.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with providing the full range of DBA services required in a complex, multi-database environment.
Essential skills include: '€¢Extensive experience administering Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 on RedHat Linux'€¢Detailed knowledge of administering Oracle 12c databases, including backup / recovery, patching, performance monitoring and security'€¢Experience using Oracle DataGuard and Physical Standby Databases'€¢A full understanding of SQL*Plus and knowledge of SQL*Developer'€¢The ability to read, write and debug SQL and UNIX shell scripts Any experience of the following would be desirable: '€¢Oracle 19c Databases'€¢Oracle Enterprise Manager'€¢Oracle Fusion Middleware / WebLogic Server'€¢Oracle Recovery Manager'€¢Tableau Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be contacted.
