Compliance Officer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your experience/skills:10+ years of experience in working within Compliance of the financial services sector preferably in the life insurance industryProficient skills in Excel, Powerpoint and WordDedicated problem solver with a positive, empathetic personality and can-do attitudeAbility to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignmentsUniversity degree preferably in an area related to Business Administration or LawLanguages: English and German, fluent in written and spoken

Your tasks:Performing control activities in the field of prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorism financingAssuring adherence to due diligence standards at client onboarding, ongoing monitoring of existing relationshipsConducting investigations in case of incidents, including related reporting and filing the suspicious activity reports to the Financial Intelligence UnitMaintaining of the Internal Control System according to Solvency II regime and perform the yearly operation of the Internal Control System to assure effectiveness and appropriatenessDeveloping the monitoring mechanism for selected legislations affecting entities and performing the impact analysis for the businessImproving the existing Compliance knowledge base by the development of specific training sessionsAdvising on Compliance related topics and queries on the day-to-day business as well as implementing action items stemming from internal audits and regulatory reviews
