About the role

Here at Babcock International we're looking to recruit a Senior SharePoint Administrator to be responsible for the day to day operations of a set of key application platforms and web services that support the delivery of group-wide Babcock applications.

You will be an expert in the maintenance of existing and delivery of new on-premises and cloud application platforms and web services.

The platforms include SharePoint Server (versions 2010 - 2019), Project Server, Office 365 and Azure DevOps Server

The services and technologies include Netscaler reverse proxy, Web servers, FTP, SSL and DNS

Other responsibilities will include:

Leading a team of web and application infrastructure specialists, including day to day line management and the development of their platform & technical skills

Manage the upgrades, monitoring and patching of platforms and services

Facilitate and look at opportunities for improvement of the processes around the deployment of solutions

Resolution and completion of Remedy incidents and work orders

What do I need to do the role?

You must have extensive experience with Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise 2010 to 2019

Capability to be a good mentor and manage staff effectively

Ideally experience of Office 365/Azure administration

Knowledge of core web server technologies and experience of supporting applications

What else do I need to know?

The successful candidate must be able to achieve the appropriate security clearance level for this role.
