Our client are seeking multiple dynamic and forward-thinking Java Developers, who can help them transform their major clients. You must be passionate about technology and about developing IT systems, utilising XP and agile practices. You must have an open mind and be willing to learn new technologies.2020 was a difficult time for most companies but this organisation have grown by 50% and now are planning to hire another 50 within 2021. This is due to their great reputation to deliver not just what is expected but go above and beyond for their customers. This role is currently off site (remote).Required skills and experienceDemonstrable experience as a Java DeveloperKnowledge of core Java languageProgramming skills in designing and implementation of multi-tier applications using web-based technologies like Spring Boot, Play Framework or JHipsterKnowledge on Spring Core such as Dependency Injection, Annotations and XML based ConfigurationsExperience of handling relational and nosql databases in a Java-based ecosystem using technologies like JDBC, Spring Data, Hibernate and JPAExperienced in logging frameworks and application monitoringAn understanding of developing applications with SOAP or RESTFul Web ServicesGood Knowledge of cloud platforms and using continuous integrationAwareness of Agile principlesAn appreciation of developing software using TDDAbility to produce simple, clean codeExperience working with multiple programming paradigms such as functional and object orientationIf this sounds like something you'd be interested in then please apply.
