Android developer (Kotlin/Xamarin) - Logistics

As an application developer for our client, you will take care of the management, bug fixing, incident management and brand new development of the applications and features.Currently they have two major applications; one written in Kotlin and one in Xamarin. One application acts as an internal communications channel for everyone in the organisation, meaning their new application developer will be required to take on the responsibility for major changes based on requirements collated by senior stakeholders.To be considered for this position, you must be open to communication, collaboration and compromise. Additionally, the office is a highly social environment so you should be confident sharing your knowledge of Kotlin and other mobile development tools. Finally, given you will be one of the more senior team members you should enjoy sharing knowledge and educating your colleagues. Role & Responsibilities Take an active role in developing new features based on stakeholder requests; as well as refactoring and optimising existing applications to ensure they are future-proofedYou will contribute your high level of expertise pertaining to the Android ecosystem and review the architecture of the applications, discussing and debating ideas and solutions with architects and PO'sThis role also has a strong requirement for applications to be highly available and scaleable, so the focus is on building stable, quality applications.

Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 3 years of experience in developing Android applications, experience with Kotlin massively preferredExperience of designing application architecture, with demonstrable hands-on experience of working with general mobile application development.It is advantageous to have knowledge of wider technologies; Vue/Angular, and iOS are also used internallyBenefitsHighly competitive salariesITP1 Pension, 30 days vacationWellness allowance, medical care, national card
