Software Developer Lead (TypeScript JavaScript Agile) Are you an accomplished Software Developer seeking a new role that balances mission-critical technical influence, hands-on work and leading by example?

As the Software Developer Lead, you'll work across the full technology stack from back end to front end which is comprised of TypeScript with modern frameworks such as Vue.js and React. You'll head up a small, close-knit team of engineers and will and play a key role in creating a leading digital streaming product that is used by thousands of people, daily.

You'll be in charge of your own annual training budget which can be used as you see fit on training courses, conferences and certifications to enhance your personal and professional development. You'll join a highly collaborative Agile team who are currently working remotely, with a gradual phase back to the London-based office planned and continued flexibility going forwards.

Requirements:

Experience of leading / managing a small team including 1-2-1s, personal development plans and recruitment

Strong software engineering background with current TypeScript coding skills and a good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Advocate of Agile development methodologies (they use SCRUM), Pair Programming and TDD

Collaborative and pragmatic with good communication skills
