Data Analyst Brighton (remote working also considered) £30,000 + Benefits 12 months FTCOne of our major clients based in Brighton is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. The role will provide analytical support for route cause analysis, data profiling and reporting, and will be responsible for maintaining a central catalogue of data quality business rules and data issues.Responsibilities Support management of the information lifecycle; define business need, analyze, assess, identity, plan, prevent, correct and control data to ensuring it is of sufficient quality to meet the growing demands of the businessManage requests from the business for data quality improvementsProfile data to provide meaningful insight, provide root cause analysis, and make recommendations for continual improvementSupport proof of concept activities relating to product selection and procurement of data management tools and softwareEngage with data owners and business SMEs to identify business requirement, drivers, impact, and prioritisation of issue resolutionDevelop dashboards and reporting to support quality initiatives and prioritisationDeliver proposal to support change to get data quality corrections applied at source (or as appropriate)Ensure adherence with data standards Experience Required:Proven experience of data management, data quality reports, analysisInterpret and summarise data analysisDemonstrable knowledge of analytical toolsetsAbility to work with people across multiple work-streams technical and non-technicalExperience of Power BI, data visualizationDemonstrable experience of working with SQL Server (2005 to 2017)
