R&D Technician (Ultrasonic)

£25,000 - £30,000 + Training + Progression + Holiday + Pension + Healthcare

This company are a leader in the field of systems supplied into the oil and gas industry. This year they have only gone from strength to strength and are now looking to recruit an R&D Technician to their team based in Cambridgeshire.

In this role you will be the involved in all areas research and development of high-end instrumentation for Oil and gas products. You will be involved in numerical simulation, design of experiments, uncertainty determination and data analysis, along with supporting other departments in the company.

The ideal candidate will be a R&D Technician from an Oil & Gas background, ideally who has worked with ultrasonic testing.

The Role:

*Research and Development of current products, including physics, hardware and software.

*Involvement in design and development of new products.

*Contribute to technical documentation and training material

*Develop and design test rigs, development of experiments, conduct experiments and data analysis.

The Person:

*R&D Technician

*From an Oil & Gas background

*ideally have knowledge of ultrasonic testing
